Job summary

SimVentions, a defense contractor in King George, VA, seeks a Weapon System Test Engineer to test TTWCS software across configurations in a lab and at customer sites. On-site presence at King George and occasional travel are required.

The role involves planning tests, documenting results, and interfacing with government personnel. Responsibilities include data analysis, procedure development, and verification of software fixes, as well as presenting briefs at technical reviews and coordinating

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required to access classified information.
• BS in a STEM field or equivalent military operational experience.
• Experience testing tactical weapon systems in a lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Test tactical weapon systems across configurations and builds in lab settings.
• Document test results and manage lab logs, CR/PRs, and TVMs.
• Analyze data, develop data extraction and reduction steps, and verify fixes.
• Develop and modify test procedures and plans; conduct peer reviews.
• Brief testing results to management and stakeholders.
