Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Weapon System Test Engineer to join our team for testing TTWCS software in multiple configurations. This on-site role requires collaboration with government personnel in King George, VA, and at NSWC Dahlgren, with some travel possible.

The position demands a Secret clearance and a background in science/engineering, with hands-on lab testing and data analysis to verify requirements and system functionality.

Qualifications

• CBT&E experience or military operations experience preferred.
• Experience with automated testing tools and methods.
• Experience using Jira to document and track CRs/PRs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of tactical weapon systems in lab configurations.
• Document lab results and maintain lab logs.
• Modify and troubleshoot lab hardware, simulators, and network configurations.
• Perform data analysis and develop data extraction/reduction for verification.
• Verify software fixes for CR/PR resolution.
• Develop/modify test procedures and TVMs; generate test plans/reports.
• Communicate testing summaries and briefings to management.
