Job summary

T-Rex Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer 2 to support critical national security systems at Ft. Meade, MD. You will work with developers, QA, DevOps and other system engineers on the GATEKEEPER product lifecycle and production readiness.

Requires active TS/SCI w/ FSP within 7 years; 10 years experience and strong skills in Docker, Terraform, CloudFormation, and ICAM. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related experience.
• Experience with RDBMS tuning, migration and optimization.
• Proficient in Docker; Kubernetes familiarity is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and CloudFormation (CDK).
• Cloud platforms experience; AWS certification beneficial.
• Knowledge of ICAM capabilities and integration.
• Documentation of system configurations, processes, and support procedures.
• Cross-functional collaboration with developers, testers, and product owners.
• Strong organization and time management; able to work independently.
• Experience with system monitoring, logging, and alerting; GitLab CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Support SDLC of the GATEKEEPER product with a DevOps team.
• Build and manage GATEKEEPER installations for DoD customers.
• Collaborate with development and QA on testing, validation, and performance tuning.
• Ensure system compliance with security best practices and standards.
