Job summary

Set of X in Maryland seeks a System Engineer to design, sustain, and troubleshoot complex data flows for mission-critical government contracting projects, covering data storage, transport, security, compliance, and knowledge-store management.

You will partner with the mission customer to explore raw data, clean, enrich, transform and convert it into required formats, while improving flow processing, distribution, and reliability. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Experience using the Linux CLI.
• Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex operational data flows.
• Experience using Apache NiFi canvas to process and distribute data.
• Experience with Corporate data flow processes and tools.
• Experience with Corporate data security and compliance procedures and policies.
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Create, sustain, and troubleshoot complex operational data flows including data storage, transport, management, security and compliance.
• Collaborate with mission customer to perform exploratory data analysis on raw data to clean, enrich, transform and convert the raw data into required formats.
• Devise methods to improve existing operational data flow processing, distribution, and reliability.
