Job summary

Peraton is seeking a skilled Data Flow Systems Engineer to plan and manage data storage solutions and support the data flow team on a critical national security program. The role encompasses test planning, architecture design and prototyping, plus vendor outreach and collaboration to ensure timely, reliable intelligence data flows while preserving data integrity and policy conformance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of systems engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• 13+ years with a Master's or PhD in an engineering field.
• 19+ years of general systems engineering experience with a high school diploma.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to a data flow and routing solutions (DFRS) systems engineering team across the government sponsor’s organization and the IC.
• Plan and orchestrate data management activities, including coordination of security tasks and metadata enrichment tasks.
• Provide system engineering expertise in architecture, design, development, requirements analysis, data flow, network design and testing.
• Analyze user requirements, COOP documents, and high-level architecture to develop system requirements specifications.
• Assist government data movement plans by recommending system flow options and evaluating alternatives.
• Document/diagram interfacing systems.
• Manage enterprise data movement requirements through Jira ticket queues.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering fields (or related discipline)

Master's degree or PhD in engineering (or related discipline)
