Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems and Network Administrator in Annapolis Junction, MD to support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. The role covers client/server/storage/network devices and mobile endpoints on-site.

The ideal candidate has 10 years of admin experience, a technical degree, TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance, and a proven ability to manage Linux/Windows environments and virtualization, with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Ten years of system/network administration experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or 15 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
Support escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Configure and manage virtual and storage environments; Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems.
Install and load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure virtual, storage, and network components.
Analyze and resolve complex problems related to server hardware, applications, and software integration.
Utilize system monitoring tools such as HP Tools / OneView, Sitescope.
Use team collaboration and issue tracking tools such as Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence), GitHub, and ServiceNow.
