Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a System Administrator (SA) at Levels II-III for the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The role covers IT system implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and day-to-day operations across UNIX and Windows environments, with focus on reliability and performance.

The position requires TS/SCI with Poly clearance and a strong background in system administration, network components, and help desk/escalation support.

Qualifications

• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manages day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices.
• Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 escalation support and communication to management.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and resolve issues.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and related software.
• Optimize system operations and capacity planning.
• Provide detailed feedback to management for escalated tickets.
