Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator to support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems in a security-cleared environment. You will manage client/server/storage/network devices and mobile endpoints, ensuring uptime and compliance across mission-critical operations.

The role requires TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, 15 years of systems experience, and a BA/BS in a technical field. On-site in Annapolis Junction, MD with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years experience as a system/network administrator.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of additional system/network administrator experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Support escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Support dispatch system and hardware problem resolution processes.
• Configure and manage virtual and storage environments; Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems.
• Install and load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure virtual, storage, and network components.
• Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
