Job summary

Akina, Inc. is seeking a System Engineer 0or1 for Fort Meade, MD to analyze requirements and lead design activities in a Linux/Kubernetes/containerized software environment. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

SAFETY-CRITICAL responsibilities include technical leadership for integration, development of architecture and system design documentation, and collaboration with government personnel and executives. Bachelor's degree or higher with SE experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Linux experience is required.
• SE-0/SE-1 qualifications with degree; five years of SE experience may substitute for a degree; seven years for SE-1.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, CONOPS documents, and high level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
• Provide technical leadership for integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Develop system architecture and design documentation; prepare system engineering management and test plans.
• Interact with Government and executives regarding SE technical considerations.
