Job summary

Akina Inc in Fort Meade, Maryland is seeking a Software Integration Engineer 2 to administer and support the PaaS components of the CASA Compute Environment (CCE), focusing on Kubernetes clusters running on a Linux-based stack.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, hands-on experience in containerization, IaC, Helm, Prometheus, and Git, plus documentation and sustainment responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Linux, and shell scripting.
• Experience writing, deploying, and maintaining Helm Charts and IaC using automation tools such as Ansible.
• Experience with containerization and monitoring tools like Docker/Podman and Prometheus/Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration, maintenance, and operational support of the PaaS component of the CASA Compute Environment (CCE).
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security compliance, and optimal cluster performance to meet mission and application requirements.
