Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Windows System Administrator to join a high‑performing Agile team operating within the SAFe framework in support of a fast‑paced program. The selected candidate will provide daily systems administration and O&M across multiple systems with a broad geographic footprint.

Key responsibilities include deploying and sustaining new capabilities, monitoring infrastructure, and ensuring timely remediation of vulnerabilities. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field; 12 years of prior relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Must have at least 7 years of Windows administration experience.
• Must have at least 7 years of information security management experience with governance, risk, and compliance expertise.
• Must have 5+ years with Windows AD/DNS, GPOs, SCCM, Exchange administration and PowerShell.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and information security principles.
• Hands-on IAVA management experience.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, VMware, networking.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Monitor test infrastructure systems, applications, and processes; identify, track, and resolve issues.
• Configure and support server, router, firewall; perform security management and performance optimization.
• Provide cross-team support and maintain interdepartmental collaboration.
• Manage IAVAs and system security scans per System Security Plans; remediate vulnerabilities.
• Initiate IAVA responses, deploy patches, and run routine security scans monthly.
• Identify and resolve hardware and software problems; communicate outages and publish status updates.
• Author and maintain documentation; respond to calls and emails promptly.
• Plan IT enhancements and support project-related work; be on-call when required.
