Job summary

The BIT, LLC in St. Louis, MO seeks a Software Developer to support the design, development, and implementation of software solutions for the Aeronautical Navigation Office.

The candidate collaborates with Product Owners, QA Managers and the Chief Architect to deliver secure, compliant software in an Agile setting. Proficiency in C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python and shell scripting is expected, with DevOps practices and a strong emphasis on testing, code reviews, and 80%+ test coverage.

Qualifications

• BS in computer science, engineering, or related field and 4+ years’ experience, or MS with 3+ years’ experience; 4 years in lieu of degree.
• TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI and Polygraph.
• DoD 8570 Compliance (IAT Level 2/3).
• Experience with C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and shell scripting.
• Experience in software development life cycle and Agile environments.
• Familiarity with GitLab, Jira/Confluence and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Managers, Chief Architect and development teams to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions.
• Ensure security, agency compliance, and code quality with 80%+ code coverage.
• Support deployment activities and participate in code reviews and documentation of solutions.
• Contribute to program Agile ceremonies (standups, planning, reviews, increments).
• Work in a SAFe Agile workflow with on-site and hybrid work arrangements.
