Job summary

Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) seeks a Software Developer T2 in St. Louis, MO to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software solutions for government missions.

You’ll collaborate with Product Owners, QA, the Chief Architect, and development teams to meet mission objectives and product requirements. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, experience with C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or shell scripting, and DoD 8570 IAT

Qualifications

• SAFe Agile activities throughout the software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, Architect, and development teams.
• Develop, test, and maintain software solutions.
• Review requirements and support deployment activities.
• Ensure code quality and secure baselines, participate in reviews.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Managers, the Chief Architect, and development teams in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions.
• Participate in SAFe Agile activities, including daily team coordination, backlog refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Review and implement software requirements, support task execution, and contribute to deployment activities.
• Administer and modify existing Government Off-the-Shelf code and integrate open-source software solutions for display in a web application.
• Develop and maintain solutions using C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and shell scripting, as applicable.
• Create and document functionality in GitLab repositories and use DevOps principles and tools to deliver features within an Agile environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, maintain secure and agency-compliant code baselines, participate in code reviews, and document technical solutions.
• Use Jira, Confluence, and other team collaboration tools to support application development and delivery.
• Help maintain overall system code coverage above 80 percent while supporting software quality, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain systems engineering documentation, including version description documents and diagrams.
• Other duties as assigned.
