Job summary

Chenega MIOS in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Software Developer T2 to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software for the Aeronautical Navigation Office.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, QA Managers, the Chief Architect, and cross-functional teams to meet mission objectives. The role requires hands-on experience with C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and shell scripting, participation in SAFe Agile processes, and the ability to work in a fast-paced contracting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or 2+ additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• DoD 8570 certification compliance at IAT Level II or III (Security+ or equivalent).
• Top-Secret clearance with SCI access and Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Managers, Chief Architect, and development teams to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions.
• Participate in SAFe Agile activities including daily coordination, backlog refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Review and implement software requirements, support task execution, and contribute to deployment activities.
• Administer and modify existing Government Off-the-Shelf code and integrate open-source software for display in a web application.
• Develop and maintain solutions using C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and shell scripting.
• Create and document functionality in GitLab repositories and use DevOps tools to deliver features within Agile environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, maintain secure code baselines, participate in code reviews, and document solutions.
• Use Jira, Confluence, and Rocket.Chat to support development and delivery.
• Help maintain system code coverage above 80% while supporting quality and performance.
• Create and maintain systems engineering documentation, including version description documents and diagrams.
