Job summary

Quantech Services Inc. seeks a Technical Writer to support mission-critical software, systems engineering, cyber initiatives, and analytics programs. You will assist engineering teams with documentation across installation guides, cryptologic tradecraft methodologies, and user manuals.

You will gather technical information, draft clear content, and maintain a comprehensive internal repository. Related experience with Confluence, SharePoint, and diagramming tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical or business-related field; 6+ years of technical writing on programs/contracts of similar scope.
• TS/SCI w/ Polygraph; Full Scope preferred; 100% on-site in Annapolis Junction/ Hanover, MD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents for software and systems engineering, operations, testing, and user documentation.
• Write and edit installation, configuration, and how-to guides for hardware/software.
• Create code documentation for software; produce implementation and end-user guides.
• Document data flows, formats, and technical publications from various sources.
• Coordinate layout and design of documents; maintain internal documentation library.
