Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Scrum Master to serve as a servant leader for an Agile team, facilitating SAFe implementation and removing impediments in a high-demand environment. The role emphasizes coaching, backlog support, and continuous improvement, with TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship required.

The position supports work in the National Capital Region or San Antonio, TX, offering competitive compensation ($99,000–$206,000) and a benefits package including health, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

10+ years of Agile team experience with 3+ years as Scrum Master.
Active TS/SCI clearance required.
U.S. citizen.
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
Strong SAFe/Scrum/Kanban/XP knowledge.
Experience in classified environments.
Proficient with Agile tools (JIRA/Confluence).

Responsibilities

Facilitate all team-level SAFe ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
Coach team members in Agile and SAFe practices.
Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
Foster environment for continuous flow and relentless improvement.
Support Product Owner in backlog management and refinement.
Track and report team metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.).
Escalate unresolved impediments through appropriate channels.
Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution.
Participate in Scrum Master communities of practice.
Support Program-level events and coordination.
