Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Scrum Master to serve as a servant leader for an Agile team, facilitating SAFe and ensuring adherence to processes in classified environments. You will remove impediments, coach the team, and support Product Owner in backlog refinement.

Requirements include 10+ years in Agile, 3+ as Scrum Master, SAFe certifications, US citizenship, TS/SCI clearance, and proficiency with JIRA/Confluence. Location: NCR or San Antonio, TX. Salary range listed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Agile team experience with 3+ years as Scrum Master.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent substitution).
• Active SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) certification.
• Strong understanding of SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and XP practices.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies in classified environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all team-level SAFe ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Coach team members in Agile and SAFe practices.
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
• Foster environment for continuous flow and relentless improvement.
• Support Product Owner in backlog management and refinement.
• Track velocity, burndown, and other team metrics.
• Escalate unresolved impediments through appropriate channels.
• Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Participate in Scrum Master communities of practice.
• Support Program-level events and coordination.
