Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Scrum Master to serve as a servant leader and coach for the Agile team, facilitating SAFe implementation and ensuring adherence to the agreed processes. This role removes impediments, fosters high-performing team dynamics, and drives continuous improvement in a classified environment.

Requirements include 10+ years of Agile experience with 3+ years as Scrum Master, Bachelor's degree, and active TS/SCI clearance with a SAFe Scrum Master or SASM certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Agile team experience with 3+ years as Scrum Master.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizen.
• Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Advanced Scrum Master (SASM).
• Strong SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and XP practices knowledge.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies in classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all team-level SAFe ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Coach team members in Agile and SAFe practices.
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
• Foster environment for continuous flow and relentless improvement.
• Support Product Owner in backlog management and refinement.
• Track and report team metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.).
• Escalate unresolved impediments through appropriate channels.
• Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Participate in Scrum Master communities of practice.
• Support Program-level events and coordination.
