Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions is seeking a highly skilled system engineer with active TS/SCI clearance and Polygraph to support OpenStack and Linux environments. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, VM lifecycle management, and IaC automation using Ansible and Puppet.

Qualifications

• OpenStack experience required.
• Linux experience with Red Hat 6-9.
• Experience with Grafana and Naemon.
• Virtual machine/hypervisor experience.
• Ansible and Puppet proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Linux operating environments and OpenStack platforms daily.
• Provide Ubuntu support.
• Manage cross-region OpenStack deployments and VM lifecycles.
• Write IaC with Ansible and Puppet; automate provisioning tasks.
