Job summary

Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC) is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared Product Owner to drive mission software design and deployment for the DIA-NDOC program. You will lead an Agile team, collaborate with government leads and engineers, and translate roadmaps into deliverables.

The role requires managing backlogs, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and ensuring high-quality engineering and testing practices while communicating status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field with eight or more years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with six or more years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
• Experience as a Product Owner, Team Lead, Scrum Master, or similar leader on a software-development team.
• Demonstrated ability to break complex problems into actionable steps.
• Experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs.
• Strong understanding of Agile methods and experience using GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience facilitating Agile team ceremonies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work across engineering, design, testing, and project-management teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage expectations and relationships with Government and contractor stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct, coordinate, and provide technical direction for research, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of NDOC mission applications.
• Plan and oversee implementation of tools supporting a high-throughput data pipeline focused on data enhancement and discoverability.
• Support requirements analysis, solution design, implementation planning, integration, test, documentation, deployment, sustainment, and system assessment.
• Own and prioritize the team’s product backlog and maintain relationships across applications and task-order teams.
• Decompose roadmap requirements into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint-ready work.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily scrums, sprint reviews and demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Manage delivery risks, elevate impediments, and coordinate dependencies across engineering, design, testing, security, operations, and project-management teams.
• Ensure sound engineering and testing practices are followed.
• Communicate priorities, status, risks, and delivered value to Government and contractor stakeholders.
• Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.
