Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC) in Bethesda, MD, is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared Application Support Engineer to support the DIA-NDOC on the DTP contract. You will anchor technical support for a critical media workflow, monitor health, resolve urgent issues, and guide cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes on-site work with some remote flexibility, a clear escalation path, and collaboration with government stakeholders across Linux/Windows environments and SQL-based diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience or a master's with 6–10 years.
• Experience in enterprise software support or systems administration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and performance of media ingest apps and pipelines.
• Serve as frontline escalation point for clients and stakeholders.
• Triage and resolve issues within SLA windows.
• Document incident lifecycles and resolutions.
• Maintain application-server infrastructure on Linux/Windows.
• Use SQL to diagnose data-related issues and metrics.
• Translate latency issues into database and server requirements.
• Convert recurring problems into defects and user stories.
• Coordinate with DBAs, engineers, and product owners through closure.
