Job summary

Akina Inc. is seeking a skilled IT Systems Analyst to support the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems at our Annapolis Junction location.

You will handle Tier 1 and some Tier 2 escalations, manage daily IT operations, and assist users with access and usage of systems. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph, a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, and prior SA experience.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of SA experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SA experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
• Manages daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Assists users in accessing and using IT systems.
• Provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Supports IT systems day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for devices.
• Supports escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers.
• Optimizes system operations and resource utilization; performs capacity planning.
