Job summary
CACI International is seeking a Platform Engineer to support the DIA mission, delivering secure, scalable platform services across Windows, Linux, virtual, physical, and cloud environments. You will design OS configurations, manage SQL Server clusters, and ensure DoD/IC compliance, RMF/ATO, and automation across modernization efforts.
The role emphasizes engineering rigor, testing, documentation, and seamless transition of solutions into operations.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current TS clearance with polygraph eligibility.
- DOD 8140 Certification (Security+ or higher) is required.
- Hands-on IT hardware and software design/integration experience.
- Windows/Linux server and database administration experience.
- Experience with RMF/ATO processes and DoD/IC standards.
Responsibilities
- Design Windows Server and Linux configurations for enterprise apps.
- Lead upgrades for SQL Server clusters with RMF/ATO validation.
- Implement DISA STIGs and security controls for platforms.
- Maintain enterprise SQL Server clusters and databases.
- Automate builds and deployment for high availability platforms.
- Support IATT and recurring ATO packages for environments.
- Collaborate with Operations to maximize availability and reliability.
