Job summary

CACI International is seeking a Platform Specialist to support the DIA with 24/7 operations across Windows Server, Linux, and cloud environments. The role emphasizes availability, security, and automation to sustain mission-critical services in a rapidly transforming IT landscape.

The position requires TS/SCI clearance with poly, DOD 8140 certification, and 4+ years of hands-on IT hardware/software experience, with a strong bias toward secure, compliant infrastructure management.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current TS/SCI clearance with poly prior to start.
• DOD 8140 Certification applicable to role and one of: Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, RHCSA, or LPIC‑1.
• Education/Experience combinations: AA with 10+ years, BS/BA with 8+ years, MS/MA with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware and software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and maintain Windows Server or Linux configurations across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Automate builds, rebuilds, and zero-day configurations for deployability and high availability.
• Support IATT and ATOs; coordinate on POA&M.
• Provide incident analysis and hands-on support; coordinate with Engineering and Operations for max availability.
• Perform scheduled/ad hoc maintenance; manage patching across networks and security domains.
• Develop test scripts and manage transfer of solutions through Blue/Green deployment.
• Analyze performance, capacity, and SLAs to preempt incidents.
• Work with technical writers to create SOPs and reporting aligned with contract deliverables.
• Participate in CSI and research new technologies for stakeholder benefits.
