Job summary

CACI is seeking a Platform Engineer to support mission-critical data transport and deployment platforms. The role emphasizes security, reliability, and scalable tooling across enterprise environments.

You will design, build, and maintain internal platforms, monitor performance with Prometheus and Grafana, and automate operations to enhance developer experience and efficiency while collaborating with software teams.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent with 10 years of experience, or 14 years substituting for degree.
• TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• Experience with platform security, reliability, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure platform security, compliance, and adherence to best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform-related issues
• Design, build, and maintain internal platforms that support application development and deployment
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Automate operational processes to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve developer experience and deployment workflows
