Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned OpenShift specialist to deploy and manage RedHat OpenShift across multiple sites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet integration requirements, maintain security/compliance, and support data services like RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligibility, a CS/CE-related degree, 5–8 years of dev experience, and hands-on work with AWS, Python, Shell scripting, Git, Linux, and CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Poly.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of developer experience.
• Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA).
• US citizenship required.
• Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in cloud and/or vSphere environments.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Proficient in Python, Shell scripting, and Git.
• Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS and CentOS.
• CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Container tech: Docker, Kubernetes, and CNCF ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, and RedHat GitOps.
• Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online.
• Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms.
• Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions.
• Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack.
• Compile detailed documentation.
• Support the design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment, and disposal of IT services across multiple networks, security domains, and locations worldwide for an Intelligence Community customer.
