Job summary

D2 Technical Services is seeking a skilled Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer to join a collaborative Agile team building a large-scale PaaS for an Intelligence Community customer. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and a strong foundation in OpenShift and cloud-native technologies.

You will operate OpenShift across security domains, deploy to new sites, support Crossplane, Kyverno, and GitOps, and collaborate with security and engineering teams to deliver secure‑by‑design data services

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
5–8 years of developer or platform engineering experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, CCNA).

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain Red Hat OpenShift environments across security domains (cloud and on‑prem).
Support Crossplane, Kyverno, and Red Hat GitOps frameworks.
Deploy OpenShift to new sites as platform expands.
Collaborate with internal/external teams to scale the platform.
Partner with Security teams to ensure secure‑by‑design solutions.
Manage data services (RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack).
Write clear documentation for teammates and future maintainers.
