Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Resident Engineer to support data center networking for a TS/SCI with Poly clearance in the Columbia/Ft. Meade area.

The role is not remote and requires on-site work at a customer location, with strong emphasis on routing, switching, and Juniper technology. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data center environments, routing policies, and tunneling technologies, plus automation/DevOps knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Automation and DevOps knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work activity and work under pressure with JTAC to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

  • Operations and maintenance of a data center network.
  • Deep understanding of routing and switching technologies including EVPN, Multicast, OSPF, BGP, RSVP, LDP, Pseudo wires, L2VPN, L3VPN, MPLS TE.
  • Support Juniper products: QFX, MX, EX, SRX; experience with Juniper is a plus but not required.
