Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Resident Engineer in Columbia/Ft. Meade, MD. This on-site role requires US Citizenship and TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.

The position focuses on operations and maintenance of a data center network and advanced routing/switching technologies. Ideal candidate will support Juniper devices (QFX, MX, EX, SRX), have automation experience (XML API, NETCONF, REST, gRPC), and be proficient in Python, Ansible, and network troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph preferred.
• Experience with medium-to-large data center networks.

Responsibilities

• Operations and maintenance of a data center network.
• Deep understanding of routing and switching technologies (EVPN, OSPF, BGP, MPLS TE).
• Collaborate with JTAC and customer engineers to resolve hardware/software issues.
