Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer for the SITEC-3 EOM program, onsite at Fort Bragg, NC. You will design, implement, and sustain DoD network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VoIP, and data center components, while aligning with cyber and DoD directives.

You will mentor junior technicians, coordinate with O&M teams, and keep current with vendor solutions to meet USSOCOM needs 24x7x365.

Qualifications

• DoD security clearance TS/SCI required.
• Education & experience equivalency: BS+2y, MS, HS+6y, AA+4y.
• DoD IAT Level II certification and CCNA required.
• In-depth knowledge of networking hardware and software; LAN/WAN and TCP/IP.

Responsibilities

• Test and analyze network facilities and integrate the enterprise network.
• Plan, model, design, install, maintain and coordinate the network.
• Monitor performance and diagnose complex network issues.
• Keep skills updated and evaluate vendor products for government needs.
• Provide guidance to junior network support technicians.
• Perform systems and network engineering and architecture planning.
• Interface with O&M personnel and support projects as directed.
• Review architectures and assist with design and implementation improvements.
• Establish end-to-end systems engineering for complex networks.
• Perform disaster recovery and backup/restore operations.
• Support cybersecurity risk mitigation and DoD directives.
• Maintain LAN/WAN/VoIP and security infrastructure (Palo Alto, Firepower, ISE).
• Maintain data center networks including ACI; support wireless and cloud needs.
• Provide CSfC or NSA capability packages as required.
