Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect to support Special Operations communications at Fort Bragg, NC. This onsite role requires TS/SCI clearance, Cisco routing/switching expertise, and hands-on network design experience.

You will develop QoS, WAN/LAN architectures, and provide integration across DoD environments, collaborating with agile teams and ensuring secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Clearance TS/SCI required.
• CCNP certification.
• 3+ years of Cisco Routing & Switching experience; LAN, WAN, Network Management, and Security knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to handle several projects simultaneously.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QoS for a voice/video/data network environment.
• Troubleshoot using network/application performance management tools.
• Develop and generate conceptual, logical, and physical network architectures with documents and test plans.
• Provide operational support for WAN and LAN technologies.
• Plan network layouts and configure systems to user environments.
• Analyze network topologies, traffic, and capacity requirements.
• Collaborate with DoD customers to shape requirements and communicate solutions.
• Support acquisition of hardware and software as needed.
• Develop detailed logical designs in EIGRP, BGP, QoS, DMVPN, IPv4/multicast.
• Perform Network Engineering for a Wide Area Networking environment.
