Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Computer Network Architect for Fort Bragg, NC. This onsite role demands a blend of network engineering, automation, and operational support to deliver secure, scalable network solutions for special operations.

Responsibilities include designing and testing network infrastructure, coordinating with J6 and customers, and ensuring rapid deployment timelines while maintaining compliance with security standards. Requires TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 IAT II certification.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance required and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and containerized architectures.
Strong network engineering background with security-focused mindset.
Ability to design, deploy, test, and sustain mission-critical network solutions.
Proven troubleshooting across on-site and remote environments.
Experience with automation tools (Ansible, AWX) and IaC practices.
U.S. Driver's License and willingness to deploy in support of operations.

Responsibilities

Design, build, automate, test, and sustain mission-critical network infrastructure.
Serve as hybrid Network & Systems Engineer and Tactical Communications SME.
Collaborate with multiple teams to enable rapid, secure deployments.
Conduct network testing, performance optimization, and fault isolation.
Lead monitoring and incident response using standard tooling and scripts.
Provide on-site and remote support for deployments and upgrades.
