Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Cisco and Arista configurations and sustainment.
• Familiarity with SSP and STE/STN compliance requirements and DoD security practices.
• Ability to operate in lab and field environments and document configurations.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, sustain, and troubleshoot Cisco and Arista network infrastructure
• Support operational networks, including firewall and crypto equipment
• Configure and test new systems and network upgrades in lab environments prior to deployment
• Support equipment fielding, cutovers, upgrades, and infrastructure modernization efforts
• Perform SSP compliance activities and support STE/STN security requirements
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and operational issues
• Work through technical issues and service requests using JIRA or similar ticketing systems
• Maintain network configurations, documentation, diagrams, and compliance records
• Provide remote and in-person support for systems at multiple locations
• Participate in on-call operational support once fully trained
• Travel occasionally, including OCONUS travel, as mission requirements dictate
