Job summary

Independent Software, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer Level 2 to configure, deploy, and support enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco and Arista technologies. You will maintain network performance, security, and SSP/STE/STN compliance while supporting lab and field deployments.

The role includes on-call support, remote and in-person assistance at multiple locations, and occasional travel, including OCONUS. A DoD IAT Level II certification and TS SCI with polygraph are required.

Qualifications

6+ years of relevant network engineering experience
Strong Cisco and Arista configuration experience
Experience supporting enterprise networks
Current DoD IAT Level II certification
Active TS SCI with Polygraph clearance

Responsibilities

Configure, deploy, sustain, and troubleshoot Cisco and Arista network infrastructure
Support operational networks, including firewall and crypto equipment
Configure and test new systems and network upgrades in lab environments
Support equipment fielding, cutovers, upgrades, and modernization efforts
Perform SSP compliance activities and support STE/STN security requirements
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and issues
Handle tickets via JIRA or similar system
Maintain network configurations, diagrams, and documentation
Provide remote and on-site support for multiple locations
Participate in on-call support after training
Travel occasionally, including OCONUS, as needed
