Job summary

Capital Solutions Group (CSG) seeks an Expert HPC Network/Systems Engineer at Ft. Meade, MD. The role requires TS/SCI with polygraphs and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

You will provide Tier 4 HPC support, tune and test high-performance file systems (XFS, GPFS, Lustre) and troubleshoot HPC farms and related tools. You will also work with distributed computing tools (RES, LSF, SLURM) and manage RedHat/SUSE environments, with a focus on performance, reliability, and security in a government

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline plus 10 years minimum IT experience.
Alternatively, no degree with 15 years of experience in a large IT environment.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 4 HPC support to Ft. Meade and UDC sites.
Configure, tune, test and troubleshoot high-performance file systems (XFS, GPFS, Lustre).
Troubleshoot HPC farm systems and applications such as Nagios, xcat, failover software, and compilers.
Work with HPC MPP systems.
Configure, tune, test and troubleshoot distributed computing tools (RES, LSF, SLURM).
Configure, tune, test and troubleshoot RedHat and SUSE operating systems.
