Job summary
Columbia Technology Partners seeks a Technical/Functional Expert (HPC) to provide advanced Tier 4 support for large-scale HPC environments. You will optimize performance of Linux-based systems, tune file systems such as XFS, GPFS, and Lustre, and administer SLURM/LSF across clusters.
The role requires a decade of experience in complex IT environments and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or equivalent. U.S.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years in large, complex IT environments with advanced expertise.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or equivalent.
- Experience with HPC systems and high-performance file systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 4 support for high-performance computing environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across HPC systems and applications.
- Configure, tune, and optimize XFS, GPFS, Lustre file systems.
- Support HPC cluster environments with monitoring and failover tools.
- Administer SLURM, LSF, and related distributed computing tools.
- Configure and maintain Red Hat and SUSE Linux-based systems.
- Analyze system performance and implement infrastructure improvements.
- Support testing and validation of system changes and upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure reliability.
