Job summary

Amentum is seeking a High Voltage Electrician in Virginia to install, maintain, and repair equipment used in generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. You will read blueprints and layouts, diagnose faults, and use standard load calculations and tools to keep systems running safely.

Requires medium voltage experience, NEC familiarity, TS/SCI w CIP clearance, and NICET/License certifications; lifting up to 45 lbs, proficient in MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read and write at a level necessary for job performance.
• Medium voltage experience.
• Familiarity with electrical controls systems
• Familiarity with NEC
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, or repair electrical equipment for generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy.
• Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications to locate and diagnose faults.
• Perform calculations related to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.
• Use standard electrician tools and testing instruments to ensure safe operation.
