Job summary

Sitreps is seeking a Facility Security Officer in Arlington, VA to build and lead our security program for a TS/SCI environment. You will own DCSA interfaces, manage the personnel security lifecycle, and drive the design and accreditation of a first SCIF on site.

The role requires active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly, DoD/IC program experience, and CDSE-certified leadership. You will implement robust insider threat and SETA activities while preparing the company for rapid growth and additional

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship.
• 5+ years as an FSO or Assistant FSO supporting DoD/IC programs.
• FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities (CDSE) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Working knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs (incl. ICD 705), and DCSA compliance.
• Proficiency with DISS, NISS, eQIP and related personnel security systems.
• Based in the National Capital Region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface with DCSA and customer security stakeholders, owning NISPOM compliance, self-inspections, audits, and relationships.
• Administer the personnel security lifecycle: DISS, NISS, eQIP, clearance processing, indoctrinations, debriefings, scaling with headcount growth.
• Manage classified contract security: DD254 review, contract security plans, and program classification controls.
• Stand up and run the Insider Threat Program and SETA program for a rapidly evolving company.
• Lead the design, construction, and ICD 705 accreditation of the first SCIF from concept to operations.
• Develop scalable procedures to align compliance with future growth.
