Job summary

Sitreps in Arlington, VA is seeking a Facility Security Officer (TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph) to build and lead the security program as the company grows. The role requires active clearance and will operate onsite in the National Capital Region.

The position interfaces with DCSA and customers, manages the personnel security lifecycle, oversees DD254s and contract security, and leads the Insider Threat Program and SETA initiatives to sustain compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required.
• 5+ years as an FSO or Assistant FSO for DoD/IC programs.
• FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities certification (CDSE) or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Working knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs (incl. ICD 705), and DCSA compliance.
• Proficiency with DISS, NISS, eQIP and related personnel security systems.
• Based in the National Capital Region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary interface with DCSA and customer security stakeholders, owning NISPOM compliance and audits.
• Administer the personnel security lifecycle: DISS, NISS, eQIP, processing, indoctrinations, debriefings.
• Manage classified contract security: DD254 review and program security plans.
• Stand up and run Insider Threat Program and SETA.
• Lead design, construction, and ICD 705 accreditation of the first SCIF.
• Develop scalable security procedures aligned with future growth.
