Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Systems Specialist Senior in the Washington, DC area to deliver enterprise IT solutions across multiple security classifications. This role focuses on keeping systems secure and running, with a focus on collaboration with government counterparts.

Candidates must have 3+ years of related experience, US citizenship, and Top Secret SCI + Polygraph eligibility.

Qualifications

• Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Re-enabling ports and VLAN changes on the Access Switches.
• Assisting government counterparts with on-site and off-site solutions.
• Install, configure, and upgrade software and hardware across multiple security classifications.
• Provide first-class customer service to personnel.
• Create documentation of knowledge base services and solutions.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel via multiple channels.
• Engage and support organizations with technical and digital solutions.
• Coordinate with CIO Senior Representatives to develop technical solutions and guide on supply chain risk management.
• Collaborate with 30+ outside agencies (e.g., DISA, U.S Army, Air Force, National Guard Bureau) on technical projects.
• Schedule delivery and collection of equipment and staging of new equipment.
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Studio and Desktop Video Teleconferencing systems.
• Imaging and configuring mobile systems (laptops and tablets).
• Cable installation and management; collaborate with DIA and other agencies.
• Lead multiple small-medium projects through planning, requirements, collaboration, and risk management.
• Provide incident response and system restoration, eradication, and recovery verification.
