Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an AV Engineer to design and implement AV solutions, prepare drawing packages, and support the installation team in a primarily office setting in the McLean, Virginia area.

The role requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance; relocation to Stuttgart, Germany is possible. You will work with Crestron, AMX, Extron, and will engage in site surveys, BOM generation, and collaboration with a team of engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering with 5+ years or a Master's in Engineering.
• Experience developing hardware and software solutions for data center and virtual infrastructure technologies.
• Experience developing cost estimates and work breakdown structures for complex projects.
• Familiarity with IT, telecommunications, A/V and electrical equipment.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Create drawing packages and BOMs in CAD.
• Design and test videoconferencing and integrated AV technologies and collaboration tools.
• Design AV systems with Crestron, AMX and Extron control systems.
• Conduct customer site surveys and provide sales engineering support.
