Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an AV Engineer to support a team of engineers in the McLean, Virginia area. The role involves preparing and performing AV design solutions, drawing packages, BOMs, and assisting the installation team as needed.

Occasional relocation to Stuttgart, Germany is possible; TS/SCI clearance is required. You will work on videoconferencing and integrated AV systems using Crestron, AMX, and Extron, and collaborate with sales engineering and site surveys.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5+ years' OR Master's Degree in Engineering.
Developing and implementing hardware and software solutions for data center and virtual infrastructure technologies
Demonstrated experience with developing cost estimates and work breakdown structures for the design and implementation of complex projects
Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objective
Familiarity with IT, telecommunications, A/V and electrical equipment including related materials and specifications
Experience with AutoCAD or similar software

Responsibilities

Creating Drawing Packages and Bill of Materials in CAD
Design and testing of complex videoconferencing and integrated audio/visual technologies and A/V based collaboration technologies
Design of audio/video systems with Crestron, AMX and Extron control systems
Conduct customer site surveys and provide sales engineering support
