Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions seeks a TS/SCI-cleared Senior DevOps Software Engineer to support the DOMEX Technology Platform in Bethesda, MD. You will deploy and maintain a production big data pipeline built on Kubernetes with Elasticsearch and Kafka, while driving CI/CD improvements and managing the Agile backlog.

You will collaborate with system engineers and architects to design scalable infrastructure and lead feature delivery in an enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain/maintain a polygraph.
• Experience with container orchestration and Kubernetes troubleshooting.
• Strong background in Agile software development, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, triage, and maintain production data pipelines on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
• Improve CI/CD scripts and DevOps processes for faster, reliable deployments.
• Design scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Configure Kubernetes deployments using Helm for new features.
• Collaborate with System Engineers and Architects on feature design and documentation.
• Own Agile team backlog and coordinate PI planning and execution.
• Participate in SAFe ceremonies and monitor progress to resolve risks.
