Job summary

Leidos is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Intelligence Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area. The role focuses on platform architecture, automation, and cloud infrastructure across Linux and Windows environments, with a strong emphasis on Git and deployment pipelines.

The ideal candidate has programming skills and a robust background in system administration, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace) or Computer Science with 8+ years of experience, including 5+ years in DevOps.
• Fluent with Git and version control best practices (branching/merging).
• Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL 6/7/8, RHCSA/RHCE, CentOS) and Windows system administration.

Responsibilities

• Support the development lifecycle including design, deployment, and debugging of platforms.
• Build and maintain a release pipeline for fast, secure production delivery.
• Automate deployments across environments with scripting and toolkits.
