Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems administration and analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience (including military or technical training).
• DoD IA certification required: either CompTIA Security+ CE, SSCP or CCNA-Security; Security+ CE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support, managing networks, software, hardware, and configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues with minimal downtime.
• Educate end-users on hardware/software usage to boost productivity.
• Perform software installations, system upgrades, and maintain OS and software packages.
• Monitor system performance and adjust for optimal operation.
• Implement standard solutions to safeguard data integrity and reliability.
• Manage backups and database archives for recoverability.
• Conduct system audits to ensure security standards and best practices.
• Collaborate to enhance performance and security for user needs.
• Assist with system evaluations and long-term planning.
• Stay current on emerging technologies to keep systems modern.
