Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Desktop Systems Lead / Senior Desktop Systems Analyst to support a large DOD contract on the Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, New Mexico site. The role blends hands-on troubleshooting with leadership to keep endpoints secure and efficiently operating.

Ideal candidates hold an active DOD TS/SCI clearance and have extensive experience with enterprise end-user systems, OS imaging, VDI, and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, while guiding junior analysts and maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8–12 years of related experience or Master's with 6–10 years; more experience considered
• Active DOD TS/SCI clearance
• Current 8140/8570, IAT Level II (SEC+ or equivalent) before start date
• 4+ years in enterprise systems administration and IT Service Desk
• Experience using ITSM suites (e.g., ServiceNow) for incident governance and root-cause analysis

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Desktop Installation projects and organize required tasks/equipment
• Evaluate enterprise peripheral integration and enforce SCIF workstation security
• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise endpoint systems and OS imaging
• Mentor junior desktop system analysts and perform root-cause analysis
• Lead end-user support and ensure timely SLA/compliant incident response
• Manage VDI configurations and root-cause analysis for performance issues
• Work with network and cybersecurity teams to enforce IT security policies
• Draft and maintain standard operating procedures and technical playbooks
