Job summary

Leidos in Alexandria, VA seeks a Senior Lead Installation Technician to head installation activities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure secure deployments of end-user devices. You will manage projects, mentor junior staff, and interface with customers and program leadership.

The role requires DoD 8140.03 aligned certifications, US citizenship, TS/SCI with poly, and up to 25% travel across US sites.

Qualifications

Must meet DoD 8140.03 IT cert requirements (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC, or higher).
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degrees with relevant experience.
Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required for this position or willingness to obtain and maintain a poly.
U.S. Citizenship is required for government contracts.
Travel up to 25% worldwide, primarily within the continental U.S.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, decommission, and support end-user devices; lead installation teams across multiple technical groups.
Coordinate personnel and project management across site installs; provide technical oversight.
Develop technical solutions to complex problems across multiple disciplines.
Establish and enforce installation standards and security posture for network equipment per DoD mandates.
Mentor junior technicians and lead multiple teams or workstreams.
