Job summary

Constellation Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Database Engineer/Administrator with active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to support multiple federal contracts in a secure environment.

Responsibilities include daily Oracle DB administration, performance tuning, scripting, and applying IAVA patches. Open to multiple experience levels with a clear career path and extensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Two years within the last five years must be directly related to Database Engineering/Administration.
• Level 04 requires a minimum of 15 years of experience.
• Level 03 requires a minimum of 12 years of experience.
• Level 02 requires a minimum of 9 years of experience.
• Level 01 requires a minimum of 6 years of experience.
• Minimum of High School Diploma.
• Experience with Oracle Database Administration including Oracle data replication technologies.
• Experience implementing and maintaining database security.
• Experience conducting database performance tuning and monitoring.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving database problems/issues.
• Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading RDBMS software.
• Experience with PL/SQL.
• Perform daily database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system database and Oracle Streams replication issues.
• Modify existing database scripts to enhance systems support and create new database scripts for recurring database issues.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for routine and ad hoc requests.
• Perform IAVA patching.
• Recommend design and implementation practices that optimize performance of GOTS/COTS databases and applications.
• Nice-to-have: Oracle Grid/RAC in Linux, Mongo, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle GoldenGate, Sybase Replication Server, MySQL, Cassandra.
