Job summary

Constellation Technologies, Inc is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator for a federally regulated role. The candidate will design, implement and optimize databases, including Exadata, RAC and Data Guard. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory, as is US citizenship.

The DB environment covers Oracle, NoSQL, and related data migration projects across federal contracts. The role requires a technical degree and a minimum of ten years’ hands-on Oracle DB experience, with focus

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; four years of additional DB experience may substitute.
• At least ten years of Oracle Database Administrator experience.
• Extensive experience with Oracle databases: design, modeling, migration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Significant experience with RAC, RMAN backup and recovery.
• Experience with Exadata, DB security, Data Guard/DB Vault, OEM Cloud Control, label security, and data migration.
• Supporting DB design, development, implementation, information storage & retrieval and data flow.
• Translating requirements into usable database schemas via queries, scripts, and macros.

Responsibilities

• Support database design and engineering to meet business needs.
• Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and data loading workflows.
• Assist in database migration, deployment, and performance tuning.
• Support long-term and short-term DB requirements for administration and design.
• Assist in creating DB parser software and related tools.
