Job summary

IPSecure, Inc. seeks a Cybersecurity Network Engineer to design, configure, and secure lab-based networks with SDN and Cisco ACI expertise. You will work across engineering, cybersecurity, and test teams to validate architectures before deployment.

Qualified candidates have 10+ years in network/cybersecurity roles, TS/SCI clearance, and CCNA with Security+ certification. On-site at JBSA Lackland, San Antonio, TX, with strong emphasis on SDN, automation, and validation.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Security+ and CCNA certifications.
• 10+ years in network or cybersecurity engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with Cisco ACI and SDN.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs, and segmentation.
• Experience in lab/test environments and virtualization.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, secure, and troubleshoot enterprise networks in lab/test environments.
• Engineer Cisco ACI architectures including APIC, leaf/spine, VRFs, and contracts.
• Support SDN technologies and network automation for centralized management.
• Configure routing (BGP/OSPF) and IP addressing schemes.
• Develop network diagrams, IP plans, and deployment documentation.
• Hardening of network infrastructure per security requirements.
• Identify vulnerabilities and remediations; support Zero Trust architectures.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
